Exploring Succulents

Are you tired of your traditional flower and vegetable gardens? Are you looking for something unique and interesting that can be a focal point of any indoor space? If so, then succulents may be the answer for you. Succulents are fleshy plants that are full of water and are able to survive dry, drought conditions. There is a huge variety of succulents available and they are ideal for container gardens. Examples include various cacti, aloe vera, and jade plants. Join us to learn more about succulents and how you can add them to your garden!

An upcoming program entitled Exploring Succulents will be presented by Doris Flattum and Shelley Murray from the Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Currituck County on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center in Barco. This program is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
