Description:

Camp Mesowannago Day Camp, held various locations around the county, is the perfect place for your child’s summer fun. 4-H summer day camp provides a safe and fun environment where your child can learn and grow. Each camp will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. This camp will be at the Currituck County Rural Center located at 184 Milburn Sawyer Road, Powells Point NC.

Youth ages 5 (must have completed kindergarten) to 12, participate in age-appropriate, learning-centered activities that encourage new skills, leadership, independence, and friendship.

Each day will present a new educational theme with a wide variety of enrichment activities to keep campers engaged. Hands-on experiments, art projects, games, music, cooking, and field trips on Fridays are just a few examples of the fun that will be experienced at Camp Mesowannago.

We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
