Description:

Currituck County 4-H is hosting a two-part, hands-on Miniature Garden series, starting with a Hypertufa Workshop on Friday July 8th from 9:00am- 12:00pm. During this session participants will learn how to create their own long lasting flower containers using the hypertufa medium and make planters to be used in the second workshop when we Creat a Miniature Garden on Friday July 29th from 9:00am-12:00pm. During this second session, participants will learn how to create and design their own small-sized garden, from plant choices and furnishings to planting and caring for your mini garden. If participants have miniture garden items like fairies , or garden gnomes they would like to bring for their miniature garden they are welcome to do so.

The fee for this 2 part workshop is $12.00 and can be paid online through eventbrite or you can pay cash or check. If you are paying with cash or check please get that to the NC Cooperative Extension Currituck Center, 120 Community Way, Barco NC 27917 within 5 days after you register. This is required to hold your spot. Checks will need to be made payable to NCSU. Participants may get dirty during this workshop so please have them wear play clothes that might get messed up.
